Episode #6 – How to turn your Online Business into an ATM machine!
Hello and Welcome! This is Victoria Ter from VictoriaTerLifestyle.com, the place where you will learn how to build, grow, and create a profitable and successful Online business and be on your way to becoming that Ultimate Lifestyle Entrepreneur! Okay Now let’s dive in, to today’s Episode.
This is Episode #6, and its about how you can turn your Online Business into an ATM machine!
Let me ask you a question,
Wouldn’t you want to know how the top earners do it? Turn their online business into an ATM Machine?
Well let me share their secret with you.
They do it through, List building.
In this Episode, I’m going to share with you What, Why, and How!

First let’s talk about “The What” – What is List Building ???
List building is the creation and generation of leads that you acquire from the internet by promoting value driven content as an exchange. Basically people enter their contact information in exchange for either a giveaway you offer, or to continue to receive value that you put out into the market place, or to attend an event that you are hosting such as a webinar. These are all different types of values that you provide and in return the individual online provides you with their contact, eg. name, email, and phone number. The list continues to grow as your content continues to grow. So if you want to build a large list, you need to continue to provide more and more content out to the market place for them to get to know you, like you, trusts you and then eventually buy from you.
Why is List Building Important for your business?
List building is extremely important because it is like growing an audience, the bigger the audience, the higher the probability of people to become your customer. List are created from what we call leads and as you may already have heard many times. Leads are the lifeblood of your business. Without them, you would have no one to market to.
What Types of List you build online?
A few things you need to understand, your list online is not necessarily your Friends and Family list. You probably already burned through them the first few days into your business. Your list online that you create are the people who are laser targeted, and highly qualified for your business. They are the people who are already interested in your product or service. They are the people who wants more information from you. They are the ones you acquired through either an Ad, or some sort of content you give away on a consistent basis. They already are interested in what you offer. They are there to get your training and your content. If they didn’t want it, they would opt out already, so if they are there, they want what you have.
This list is to build connections, a relationship and have them get to know you. You do this by continuing to provide them content and resources. And then at some point when they are ready, they will buy from you because of the relationship you build with them. Not all of them, but you only need a small percentage of die hard people on your list to grow your business substantially. These people will buy over and over..
You can do all this on auto- pilot and as a result your list will grow on auto-pilot as well. I do mine through video marketing, and blog post, along with utilizing Social media platforms and run paid ads. You can start for free ofcourse. You just need to put more time into it in the beginning.
Video Marketing though is by far one of the best, and quickest strategy, to utilize so that you can start developing your business into the direction of autopilot. Having Videos replaces you. I’ve purchased many products and services, just based off people’s videos. Never having spoken to them in person, or meet them. Just right off their Videos. The use of video marketing can be very powerful if done right. Another amazing and extremely effective way is creating audio, which is what you are listening to now and can easily turn it into a video if you don’t want to be on camera. Its fast and easy. You see, you need to understand that people join and buy from people. So the more they see and hear you in action on social media, the more they will start to get to know you.
If you continue to give them value, and not spam them, and offer them lots of training and content, they will continue to keep you on their email account. Eventually they will become your customer.
When you do this correctly, your list becomes your automatic ATM machine because every time you want to increase your revenue and make sales, all you have to do is connect them with a product or service that they already want and need. Your network or affiliate marketing business can be one as well. Whatever it is that you represent. They will buy if it’s what they already want and need. Know that people like to Buy, they just don’t like to be sold. The people on your list are always looking to make money as well so if you have something that gives them that opportunity, they will be open to it usually, once they get to know and trust you.
So how do you build this list?
Like any other business out there, you will need Tools and resources. For example, you can’t have a restaurant without first getting the space, then setting it up with chairs and tables, then getting a chef to cook the food, and servers to serve the food, and pots and pans to prepare it all. You will need tools to succeed in any business. You will need to invest in something. For an online business, you will ofcourse need equipment for starters, like a computer, internet connection. Then the softwares, then if you want to venture into a specific business like Online marketing, you will need to start learning all about marketing and sales funnels to generate leads, which ultimately turns into your email list, and then ultimately turn into your sales. If you want to do well, you need to follow a process, a plan. Just like in any Brick and Mortar business, you need a Plan.
To get started, you would need a lead capture system that captures leads, here are a few recommendations.

I personally use Optimize press and clickfunnels right now.
The next item you will need is an email Autoresponder to automatically follow up on your emails so you can build that relationship without emailing people one by one, all day everyday. I personally use Aweber. There are others out there too.

Here’s how to get started…
Step 1 – Pick one marketing strategy and start driving traffic to your lead capture pages from there. Example would be, if you want to pick Facebook as your Marketing strategy, you will use that as your platform to market the products and services there. Provide some sort of content that you post. Do this daily and consistently, and in between intervals, you can start to provide and offer with your capture page link for them to opt in. If you do this correctly, people will start opting in. I’m not sure going straight to a landing page, optin page is okay these days on facebook, so you might want to direct them to a blog post first, and from that blog post, offer the free giveaway in exchange for their emails.
Step 2 – Stay Plugged in, informed and continue to learn. First of all, you need to always know what is going on in your industry as much as you can. Stay plugged into the Webinars, Wake up calls, Mindset Calls, or any live even that pertains to your growth. If you choose a marketing plan, make sure you learn everything you need to know about it. Keep your mind nourished on an intellectual level as well as maintaining mental balance. If you continue to do this, you will automatically know what to do next. It will come if you stay plugged in.
Step 3 – Start setting your business with the tools you need that I mentioned above. Create the giveaway, whether it being an e-book, checklist, masterclass, webinar, etc. Then use a lead capture system to connect to the giveaway, which can be hosted on your google drive. Grab the link from there, insert it into the lead capture system, and make sure you link it to the autoresponder. I know it may sound a bit complicated, but it’s easy once you sign up for those tools, there will be instructions for you. Maybe in the future i’ll make a video, if you want me to, comment below.
Step 4 – Once you start getting leads coming through, continue to connect with them through phone calls, emails, providing more and more content to them. Before you know it, they will start chasing you down.
So that is the basics to get started. All you have to do is, get to work. Start putting your business Online together. Know and understand that it is a business and it will take time to grow and develop, but it’s definitely doable. Create consistency, and start building your list and in time, understand that a large, solid, highly responsive list will eventually turn into sales and sign-ups, even while you sleep. This is what I mean by automation. Isn’t that awesome!
Leads and traffic going to your site automatically, and your business becomes an automatic ATM machine..vola, thats how it works.
