So you’ve learned a ton from me about prospecting and finding the right people. So how on earth do you incorporate that into your already busy work of blogging, posting, creating value and things of that nature to build your business?

Well In this post,  I’ll be sharing with  you exactly how you can start incorporating Prospecting into your daily routine easily and with the consistency, how you can start signing up and making sales weekly and even daily! Okay lets begin!

Your Daily Routine!

Some of you are thinking, “Okay, how do I fit this into what I’m already doing? How do I make this work?” To do this, what you may want to do, is connect with five to ten people per day. So, five to ten messages, reach out to them properly.

 

You will want to fill your Inbox and you can do this through Facebook, or other social media platforms like Twitter,and  Google+.  Although I do suggest you use one platform and be excellent with it, before you head over to another platform, because you won’t really be able to build momentum when you spread yourself out on too many platforms.

 

What you can start doing is, block out a half hour a day for sending new messages, maybe in the morning, in the afternoon; and, a half hour a day for answering old ones, maybe at night. It’s all about blocking.

 

So, this should literally take you less than an hour a day. I’m not kidding. If you’re doing more than an hour a day for the ten messages, you’re probably doing something wrong. But like I said, spread it out throughout the day, so you don’t get on Facebook Radar and fall under their algorithm where they can put you in facebook jail.

 

Create a calendar and post it in front of your desk, that way, you won’t be doing one thing one day and another thing another day and not be consistent. Write down the activity and the time window you want to do it, and if your time changes, make note of it, to reschedule on your daily calendar. Don’t skip it. In time, if you do this daily, it will take on a compound effect.

It’s really important to Follow up.

 

That is key.

 

When you get somebody into a presentation or had them watch a video, write down those names so you’ll know who to follow up with.

 

Write down the first and last name and what date that you spoke to them, and on the next page, write down the date that you will be following up with them.

 

Then on the next page after that, when you follow up and when you signed them up or sold something to them, write their name on the next page after that, and start creating a facebook list of people that are part of your team.

 

If they didn’t respond back to your follow up, or they are not ready yet, add them to another facebook list of prospect that you want to be in front of.

 

When you create this list, you will create another news feed and what that does is, it allows you to be in  your prospects faces so you can continue to build that relationship.

 

Your inbox will start to flood, I’ve learned to use the pen and paper to follow up on prospects that I gave links to,  its much faster to glance over quickly. If you like spreadsheets or anything like that or a contact manager, that’s cool.

 

You can use that. I like pen and paper. I keep all my leads in one notebook and that’s how I handle it as I write down who the person is, what date I’m going to follow up with them and then I put it in my phone on my calendar.

 

So, that’s what I want you to focus on for the next week so you can start, just interacting and build that relationship.
