How to Prospect Like a Pro by  using this one Powerful Technique

Hello and Welcome! This is Victoria Ter from VictoriaTerLifestyle.com, the place where you will learn how to build, grow, and create a wildly profitable and successful Online business and be on your way to becoming the Ultimate Lifestyle Entrepreneur! Okay Now let’s dive in, to today’s Episode.

 

Okay, my question of the day, have you ever wondered how  Top leaders are closing and getting sign ups left and right.

Well in this Episode, I will be sharing with you a very powerful Prospecting Technique that they use..and  you can learn how to use it as well to help you build your business.

Okay are you ready to hear the Powerful Technique?

Okay lets begin, When ever you are working on sponsoring, there are a few people skills you need to acquire, learn and implement to ensure a more successful rate of sponsoring!

One of the most important skill you need to learn is Mirroring and Matching Method!

Mirroring and matching means,

You have to Pay attention to their tone of voice, pace of speaking, and body movement that they are using.

If they sound aggressive, and rough, you need to sound rough and aggressive.

For Example, if they ask you.  What is it that you have for me to look at ? Your gonna say,

Well I have a side project that can help you make some extra money and it won’t interfere with what you are currently doing.

You see, you sound just like them rough.

Don’t sound soft and weak, like well…I have a side project that can help you make some money.

If you sound so different than them, they will instantly not trust you. Its just human nature.

Like attracts like..

So if they sound soft and gentle, you will sound soft and gental.

If they speak fast, you speak fasts

If they speak slow, you speak slow

If you are in front of them in real life, you follow and mirror their movement..but in a very subtle way, if they cross their legs, wait a little bit and then do the same, if they grab their coffee cup, after a minute later, do the same, if they turn their heads or move their shoulders back, wait a minute or two later and do the same…but don’t be obvious , if they accidentally knock some woman down, don’t do the same…..

Use this technique online, not only in real life but even when you are prospecting on facebook or any other social media platform. If they type long messages to you, you type long message to them, if they type short abrupt messages with lots of happy face emojis, then, you type short abrupt messages and have lots of happy faces emojis to them. You can even go through someone’s facebook page and gage in on their personalities to feel out their energy and emulate and follow it when you communicate with them.

When you mirror and match people, you begin to build rapport with them.

Now I understand you may be thinking, that you want to be yourself in this business, and ofcourse you can, when you do passive marketing, which means you put out information to the market place through videos, blogs, etc. But when you are prospecting one on one…you need to adjust yourself to the pace of the person you are prospecting and emulate them because that’s the quickest way to subliminally build rapport with them and they will begin to like and trust you, and a lot of times they don’t even know why, but in their mind, they just know, this guy/gal is just like me, he or she, just gets me. And what they will do is they will begin to respond to you. Do you see my point ? Think about it, who are the people you usually like, the ones that are a lot like you right? I’m not saying though to copy their accent or anything silly like that, you need to be yourself, but follow and match their pace and speed in the beginning. They will instantly trust you, its just human nature…

That’s the power of Mirroring and Matching.. and that’s what you need to do in the beginning. Later though, you can start to lead them into a different tonality once they are comfortable with you.

Now this is what I mean by Leading…

What you do is you start the way they start, but slowly, you lead them into your pace…and lead them into your speed and before you know it, they will begin to understand you, even at the faster rate because you gave them time to get acclimated and adjusted to you…because at this point, they are actually paying attention to you because you already built rapport with them…Understand that once you build rapport with someone, the matching and mirroring isn’t so important anymore..but in the beginning it’s a necessity. It is not the point of mirrorring and matching forever, you want to at some point, have them be lead by you.

That the power of Mirroring and matching in the beginning…
