In Today’s Episode I will be sharing with you strategies on HOW TO OVERCOME YOUR FEAR OF REJECTION !

Let me ask you a question?

Have you been so afraid of being rejected that you never even bother to start in the first place?

You see, So many people have missed out on many great opportunities in all walks of life because they fear rejection. Self image preservation is so important to them that they never even take any kind of action to get rejected or accepted in the first place. As a result, they miss out on that “What If” possibility. And for some, they go their whole lives wondering and regretting.

So …Here is a great way on how you can overcome the Fear of Rejection

You are first gonna go Get the book “Go for NO” –  in that book, it explains to you how the most successful people are the ones that face the most rejections.  They heard the word “no” more, and they struck out more.

You know the guys that seem to get all the girls, well they probably heard more No’s than you can ever imagine, they just don’t talk about it, because they know, in between those No’s, are a piles of Yes’s, they Just have to go through enough No’s.

Have you ever heard of Babe Ruth, the year that he broke the Home run Record, he also had the most strike outs! This means that he simply swung the bat the most times. There are people that are masters of closing, and did you know that you can beat them. You simply talk to more people. If someone has a 40% close rate and they talk to 10 people, that’s only 4 people. If you had a 10% close rate, and you talk to 100 people, that’s 10 people that you can bring on board. You see, it’s not about how good you are only. If you are not as great a closer as some people are, you simply make up with the numbers. A lot of super recruiters are not willing to hit the big numbers. If you are, you can be even more successful than they are. So don’t fear starting because you don’t think you are good enough, practice with numbers and you will not only grow your business, but gain confidence!

Set a number of NO’s that you want to shoot for. Let’s say 10 NO’s a day till you finish for the day.  And let’s make it even more fun, let’s set 3 yes’s for the day. I think that’s a reasonable number.

So if you don’t complete these two parameters, you are not done yet… Okay? If you follow this, there is no way you can’t do well in your business.

What is considered Classified as a “NO”

      If you reach out to someone and they say No, that’s a No.

      If you followed up with someone that you sent information to in the past and you ask them if they reviewed that information, and they said yes they did, and they are still not interested, then that is classified as another NO

      Getting a Voice mail does not count as a NO

      Getting the response “ I need to talk to my spouse” is not a NO

There has to be no way of following up, then it counts as a NO.

So a lot of times you will be going through more calls than you think to get through to those 20 NO’s. However even though they say NO at that moment, be sure not to cross them off your list, because times may change at a later date and circumstances may change as well.

They may be susceptible to a Yes in the future. The only time you ever do cross someone off your list and delete their information is when they are a complete Meano..and nasty and a jerk to you.  

Just low energy and  full of negativity. Those people do not get the privilege of working with you, ever! Make sure you posture yourself.

Working with you should be a privilege. You will be putting a lot of effort into working with people and they need to deserve it.

So what is in The power of going for NO’s

You see, when you have not reach your maximum number of NO’s for the day, you keep going. What happens is, you end up getting more “YES’s” because you kept going.  And Don’t forget to challenge yourself some more with those three Yes’s. That will for sure keep you going.

If it’s a day where you keep getting Yes’s all day, and If you stop before you get to your 20 NO’s, you will miss out on the potential of more Yes’s .

So that is the Power of going for NO’s , it’s the power  of STREAKS.

And here’s a fun tip for you, The best time to call someone is immediately after you recruited someone else, because your energy is high, your confidence level is at it’s peak, and it will come off on the phone and the chances of recruiting the next call, increases as well because of that.

So When you recruit someone, always try to follow up on another call.

So where do you get these people to talk to

They are literally everywhere! 95% of the people around you are dissatisfied with their jobs.

But if you are petrified to approach people in person, there is another strategy that you can use, its called the internet and looking for the right people online. 

Okay, there’s something else that you need to Understand… prospects and leads are two different things. Prospects are just people that you want to approach to talk to about your business. Leads are those who already showed  interest in the kind of business that you are in. Okay, Your exercise for the day…will be…

To Set a Goal for a number of “NO’s”  and a specific number of Yes.  Even if you only get 2-3 No’s a day, and perhaps 1 yes, you will be crushing this business.

You will be building a huge team.

If you want success in this business, you have to accept the fact that you will get rejected. 

The best recruiters get rejected 70 % of the time.

So don’t beat yourself up. The more rejection you get, the higher your chances of success!

Embrace rejection. It only means you are getting closer to the Yes’s

This process is the easiest way you can overcome the Fear of Rejection, by getting comfortable and understanding that every rejection gets you close to your Goals.
